I Believe…

One of my beliefs that I think was definitely true is that with the emergence of social media, more false information is spread. This was shown in the reading  by David Poulson, since he talks about how social media has made journalists lazier in searching for the facts since they will just go to their Facebook feeds, which is filled with a lot of incorrect information. One of my beliefs that I think changed was that the future of journalism is booming, since we have learned in class that many news publications have gone bankrupt. This is sad especially for the future of news because it makes the internet a more accountable platform for people to post information, even though, most of the information posted on the internet is inaccurate or just false.
